Writer and Translator - That is What I am going to Become

I am a native Chinese. And I can speak English. And translation has been my career for over a decade.

But during that 14 years, what I have translated have been just some tasks from my clients, including translation agencies and website owners. So my jobs have nothing to do with fiction although I do remember I translated a novel during my holidays at high school.

I did that just because I liked it without thinking about getting money for that. But now when it comes to translation, the first thing that comes to my mind is always how much money I can get from it.

I hate that style of living.

So I want to change that with this blog.

Here is what I am going to do. When I come across some good Chinese stories online or in a book, I will try to put the translated version here.

That's right. I am going to make this blog a sharing platform for literature exchange.

Note: If you have any text that you would like me to translate from English to Chinese or Chinese to English, please recommend by commenting under any posts. I will try to do that by pulling out sometime and share it here or other English or Chinese platforms.

I love writing things, although I don't like long non-fiction essays, but I do like writing short stories.

I would also make this platform a place where I can put my practice for review. I think a writer grows only if he writes a lot.

Without further ado, I will start reading as many books and essays as possible now in order to find good ones that I want to translate. And I will write my life down here too.
